The trail from Gyalche Kharka (2990m) took 30 minutes to descend to the Rolwaling Chu and the Dongang Kharka (2800m). While waiting for the porters to arrive, I sat next to a small fire in a small makeshift hut. It rained again in the afternoon, but cleared off by the next morning, with a cooler overnight temperature of 8C.
